Bobbi Kristina Brown Was Using Heroin Prior to Bathtub Incident (Report)

Bobbi Kristina Brown, the troubled daughter of deceased singer Whitney Huston and Bobby Brown was using heroin and other drugs prior to being found unresponsive and face-down in her bathtub on Jan. 31, People reports.

According to People’s sources, Brown, 21, was “regularly” using heroin, cocaine and Xanax in the months leading up to the incident, as well as drinking heavily.

People cites one source as saying that Brown had been “in and out” of rehab since her mother’s Feb. 11, 2012 death, but hit stumbling blocks in her recovery because she was “distraught”  over the upcoming third anniversary of Houston’s death.
“This girl was trying hard, but she didn’t have any support system. She was still dealing with a lot of grief over her mother,” the source said.
Bobby Browns attorney has not yet responded to TheWrap’s request for comment.

After defending her husband on the romoured domestic violence in her matrimonial home, Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe, has taken fans by surprise as she revealed how she shows love to her husband.
The actress in a bid to silence her haters, exposed a picture of how she romances her husband to make him more relaxed while at home or before leaving for work.
Mercy placed the head of her husband on her cleavages thereby making him look so gentle and more like a baby.
'Office romance' you might call it, but for Mercy she's just showing off the face of the man that tickles her heart.

Aside their visibly display of love and affection, in the picture the 'Osas' star actress shared also hints that her darling husband is a lover of phone and accessories as over five mobile phones are sighted on the desk of where they were caught necking and cuddling.

Special Report: Jose Mourinho to sign new 4-year contract with Chelsea in the summer

Having already locked up Eden Hazard, Thibaut Courtois, Oscar, César Azpilicueta, and Lewis Baker to new long-term deals earlier this season, the Chelsea front office are reportedly turning their attention to the contract of the next key member of the club, the one only José Mourinho.

José Mourinho is expected to sign a new contract with Chelsea in the summer [...] the Barclays Premier League leaders are eager to secure his long-term future by offering him a new four-year package.

The finer detail and any increase on his existing annual salary of £8.5 million will be discussed in the summer, and may be contingent upon the west London club's success in the present campaign. The Portuguese failed to win a trophy last season and, while Chelsea have been delighted with his progress since returning to the club 18 months ago, they want silverware at the end of the term.

For whatever it's worth, The Times are claiming an "exclusive" on this.  Regardless of whether that makes you trust the report any more or any less, the report itself certainly makes plenty of sense.  Mourinho will be halfway through the contract he signed when he returned to Chelsea, and the ideal time to renegotiate long-term deals is right about halfway or, at the latest, when there are still two years left.  Which is where Mourinho will be this summer.  And we're all about stability and sustainability and other such -ilities, so it makes sense to keep the managerial position stable as well.

Should we end up winning a trophy or three, the negotiations will probably be a mere formality.  While I don't think a second consecutive season without silverware automatically would be grounds for not awarding a new contract, it's probably best to just avoid that whole conundrum and win some things.

Removed from ventilator, Bobbi Kristina Brown's condition unchanged - Source

(Reuters) - Doctors have taken Bobbi Kristina Brown, daughter of late singer Whitney Houston, off the ventilator that has helped her breathe since she was found unresponsive in a bathtub last month, but no decisions have been made to take her off life support, a family source said on Thursday.

The source, who declined to be identified, said Brown's overall condition has not changed. Removing the breathing tube was a standard course of practise to avoid infection, the source said.

Family members have said Brown, 21, the only child of singers Bobby Brown and Houston, is fighting for her life at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta after she was discovered on Jan. 31 face down and unresponsive in a bathtub in her suburban home.

They have said little about the aspiring singer's treatment or medical prognosis, and Bobby Brown has asked for privacy.

Police in Roswell, Georgia, are treating the case as a criminal investigation and have been questioning people about the circumstances leading up to Brown being found in the tub.

Brown's famous mother, a six-time Grammy Award winner and actress who battled substance abuse, drowned in a hotel bathtub in Beverly Hills, California, on Feb. 11, 2012. Authorities said cocaine use and heart disease contributed to Houston's death at age 48.
